I've been meaning to write this down before I forget it :)

A few days ago I was driving to work in the morning, and noticed, again, that, like every year, my left forearm is *significantly* darker than my right. Stupid driver's tan.

I then started thinking, how could I fix this? The obvious thing would be to be a passenger - that doesn't work very well though. So then, because my brain apparently is not constrained by reality, I started thinking "well, if I could just *disconnect* my arms, and reconnect them on the opposite sides of my body, I could still drive the car, but my right arm would be on the driver's side window.

I started visualizing how that would look - my elbows would bend the wrong way, but that wouldn't be too bad in the car - I could just hold the bottom of the steering wheel - plus then, if my right arm automatically pulls to the right to turn the car right, that should still work, even though it's connected to my left shoulder.

I thought about this for a few minutes and felt like "yeah this would totally work" - and then realized that the *underside* of my right forearm would be exposed, so I would still be lopsided in colouring.

Yeah - THAT was the part that made it totally not feasible....
